My name is Jince. Over the course of a lifetime, I've sought out experiences that have helped mold me into a transdisciplinary designer of sorts. Through differing projects, positions, and enterprises, I've found that true creativity arises out
of the convergence and remix of different professions, disciplines,
and areas of study.
Uniting the many hats that I wear is an underlying quest for social innovation. I strive to help write a new story for our world; one in which collaboration and compassion take precedent over competition and apathy.

No, it's not about being weak, but being strong: It's a fundamental action, an exercise of the heart even, that can push us towards understanding ourselves, and in turn, each other, in a more holistic way.
In order for us to tackle the complex issues of today, we need to come to understanding, not consensus. Let's gain the compassion and empathy to form bridges with people who are like minded, but hold different beliefs.
Let's push the status quo. We can break our limiting system of beliefs and assumptions by creating and iterating radical visions for the future. How about capitalism with a shade of collaboration? Or protest with a touch of whimsy?

The rapid spread of distributed networks (like the internet) is changing the way we interact with each other and create/share/consume information. No longer are we consumers who only digest information, but creators who take, remix, and share ideas. Little by little, the power is shifting and a real, true democracy is being created.
Whether it's "We are bringing democracy to a foreign people" or "I am a designer," both statements are rooted in belief of a particular narrative. Once we recognize this, we can clearly see that the story can be changed. Though difficult and tiresome, we can change it, and we will.
Beyond the world of business, entrepreneurship can be an approach to life: it's recognizing that the only person that can change our reality is ourselves and having the confidence to take the risks to change our realities and the world around us.
